Je pense juste que j’ai terminé la première partie, il n’y a pas de scène vidéo nsfw ?

Why does it say "Genex 2 is a FREE visual novel" but i still have to pay at least 10 bucks?

because there is no, Genex 2. This is just Genex 1 continued, which does have a decent length free version.

Got the data ported message, switched to part 2, started new game, was asked to import data, clicked yes, "no data was found". The file is there, I just checked. WTF. Is genex 2 looking in the wrong place?

No, it's your android not letting 2LG search for the file elsewhere than its own folder.

1 - Play gnx1 until u get the "data saved" text
2 - Go to Android/data/genexlove.one
3 - Copy the Genexlove1 file from genexlove.one/files/saves
4 - Paste it to Android/data/two.love.genex/files/saves
5 - Enter 2 Love Genex

yea I'd like to do that but even with the "Files" app it doesn't let me move or copy anything in or out of the data folder. Any way around this?

I'm not sure how to do that, so far the people hasn't been sharing a lot.

If you have a pc it can access the folder

annoyingly enough I'm probably gonna switch to pc for this one because I use secure folder for all of my "adult" games on android (which could potentially be what causes the issue in the first place). Secure folder files are hidden usually to pc's I believe unless there is a way to find it i don't know about it. It sucks but eh 🤷‍♂️

love the game but maybe you should make it so we can play freeplay after all the events are done

(+2)

I'll think about making something like that.

(+2)

Man, that was a nice first part. See you guys again in the next 6 months! I'd rather wait for quality anyways, keep up the good work!

(1 edit) (+1)(-1)

Personally I disagree with the notion that quality is paramount. One should never settle for second best after all.

Instead we should all be pushing every single Developer of every single game to improve themselves. To be better artists.

We should be asking for quality AND quantity. We should be pushing Developers to be faster AND to write better stories.

Yes we should recognize good work when we see it but then we should also ask for more!

(+1)

As someone who is learning, and attempting to do his first novel, i have learned tht it is truly amazing the work these devs do. this shit is hard, and time consuming. I am at minimal ability with the art and scripting, so look at even the bad games in awe, specially if it is a single dev. Yes, I wish they could go faster, and put out more chapters, but have realized, in most cases, it is not possible. These people putting these things out rock, so as bad as waiting is, it is usually worth it.

(4 edits)

I understand its not easy. I am saying we should always push for more. To do otherwise is to enable laziness and greed.

As much as many Devs are honest and hard working, there are also some that abuse the system and forgiving long dev times makes it easy for dishonest devs to milk their patrons.

Also practice makes perfect... therefore over time, as the Dev grows more experienced, their development times should be improving as should the quality of their art! As I said quality AND quantity!

Personally, I think Patreon is a very flawed system. Devs should only be paid when the Art is completed. Paying them per month just encourages people to take their time. They should be paid only when their customers are happy and they should receive a bonus if certain goals are met (such as delivering their AVN update before 6 months pass).

Going unpaid until they complete their project is also important. That way if they are lazy, they get nothing. If they work hard, they get to eat and pay their bills.

(+3)

I completely agree with your point, and it’s true that some developers, once they reach a certain level, start milking their supporters or at least stop giving their all or showing the same level of devotion to their project.

One thing I do disagree with, though, is the idea that time makes you faster. For me, the opposite is true—every time I try to improve, it slows me down. Whether it’s trying new techniques, discovering better methods, or adding features, it all adds to the development time. If it’s not about the quality of images, renders, or videos, it’s about coding, branching, or improving the overall user experience.

Unfortunately for my supporters, this means every single update takes me longer to produce the same amount of content. But I always aim for the best I can deliver.

That said, I know there are developers out there who milk their supporters, don’t care enough, or simply stop trying. For me, this is my main and only source of income, so my entire focus is on this project. I usually work between 8 and 12 hours a day. When I first started, I worked about 14 hours daily, including weekends and holidays, but that took a serious toll on me. So I decided to take weekends and holidays off to rest and spend time with my family, who deserve my attention too.

(+1)

I do get the point as well, but it falls on the subscribers to decide what to do. It was like when dc universe first came out. They had titans and doo patrol, and not much else, although the animated series were nice, I had seen the all too many times. I chose to keep the subscription for a year between releases. I personally know someone who cut it off and turned it back on when the new episodes came out , his choice. Neither of us were right or wrong, and universe was not altered,it did not speed up or slow down production. Unfortunately these things take time.

One lesson I am learning is one mistake in the scripting can screw you up for weeks, once you finally realize you made it. I am hating scripting with every fiber of my being at this point. I know it is due to my very slow learning curve, but it has given me a new respect for the devs, specially when a but is discovered in a release, and they fix it in a few days. To me, that is amazing. Ok so I am a 60 year old dev fanboy... lol.

(1 edit)

Hmmmm an interesting perspective. Food for thought.

I guess it comes down to finding a balance between progress and meeting expectations.

I think unless an improvement in the code is necessary due to lack of support for the current version of the code, that perhaps one should simply leave well enough alone.

I guess one should seek a peak state and try to stay there.

I appreciate this discussion too. Not just interesting but important.

In my opinion there needs to be critics as well as supporters and no one should ever be immune to criticism.

(1 edit) (+1)

Hi there! i could need some help please. i make a mistake by buying the game. my first payment was to low. 15 bucks instead of 20 so i try to compensate it with another 5 bucks. is there a way to merge my two time payment into a total of 20? Just finished Game 1 and was desperate to start part 2! Silly me was a bit careless.

Thanks!

Hi, I can't do anything about that, but you can probably contact support for a refund or maybe they can unite your payment as one.

(+1)

Yeah. Already did so. Hope they´re willing to help me. Anyway thanks for the quick response.

And by the way, Part 1 of Genex Love is a great game and i enjoy playing it a lot! I am totally into any superhero stuff. And your Genex-background world is also really good. May i ask you if you get some inspiration from series like "My Hero Academia" and "the Boys?" Well best wishes from me and keep that good work!

(+1)

Yes, I've seen those, so they've likely influenced the concept of Genex!

I can see a parallel between Homelander from The Boys and Miraculous Man from Genex Love...

(+1)

That´s was also my impression ;-)

(+1)

Thanks again. Support from itch.io helped me. Now anything is fixed. By!

(+1)

I'm glad they were able to help you!

Deleted 3 days ago

Both, but patreon is preferred. (taxes thing)

(1 edit) (+1)

I admit I am tempted to get Genex Love 2 for $20 USD.

$6-7 per Update isnt bad value for money and I do really wanna play it.

Waiting another week seems like such a long time and I have been looking forward to this a lot.

But on the other hand if I do it and then it turns out I hate it I'll be so angry at myself for wasting the extra money...

(3 edits) (+1)

Well I certainly didn't hate it.

*** Spoilers Ahead for those that don't want them ***

The new content was, of course, too short. But I enjoyed what was there. I love Kate and Lynx so I very much enjoyed their scenes and even though I am less enamored with Lisha I do still like her and enjoyed seeing her start to soften up more, become more affectionate.

The new girl, Aurora, got just enough attention that I have come to the conclusion that I like her. I look forward to seeing her part of the story develop.

I thought the changes to Marco's body and even his personality to a lesser degree were a pleasant surprise.

I'm sure there will be time for it later but I was a little disappointed that Rei didn't get much attention, they basically just bumped into each other and promised to talk to each other more later. For me that was disappointing simply because Rei was my favorite from Part 1 and if it were up to me she would have been the first person I would have gone looking for.

I very much appreciate that some of the settings and options were up for a reset at the start, even for my imported game. It's nice to have the option to change my mind on some things.

I have yet to try my full Harem game though, this was my partial Harem game, so I don't know if it'll be exactly the same. Especially concerning how Amanda, Jennaka, Vellany or Hannah reacted.

I liked that the story seems to have shifted to a 'new' threat right away, the Hengetis and the Villains and their attacks. That seems to be the short-term story hook while Thread and Miraculous Man (I think thats right) loom in the distance as a future major threat.

Theres also the hint that something is controlling the Hengetis, driving them to attack, perhaps a Queen or something. A new Hengetis lady made a very brief appearance but I dont think that she is the Queen.

All in all, it's a good start. If you can keep up the flow by making sure the amount of time between content releases doesn't get too ridiculous (over 6 months) then I'll be satisfied.

(+3)

Yes, I'm sad that I couldn't add some content for each girl, but there's a lot of them, that's why for the next update I'll work hard to get them all on screen! Thanks for the comment!

(+1)

Your a one man army reboot love hoorahh like the army 🪖 says 🥳🎉 Looking forward to More genex love but until then always stay positive and never let anyone bring you down and always keep your strength up by eating yourself a good healthy meal thank you creator for everything blue drago out until next time

(1 edit)

I know you stretched your time thin but you would have gotten even more complaints if any of the girls were missed.

Like I said I am happy with the attention Lynx and Kate got. In the end you did the right thing, you left me wanting more.

One thing I want to ask about though: At the end of Genex 1 and the start of Genex 2 you give a screen that summarizes all of the scores, affection scores with the girls etc. Would it be possible to use that screen to update us every so often? Say once every 3 or 4 releases?

Makes it easy to keep track of things. Call it a quality of life fix.

I finished my full Harem play too. Couple of extra scenes including Amanda and Jennaka getting a little more attention. I actually kinda liked Jennaka's one. She's a good girl. I like how protective she can be.

(+2)

I'll tajke this in consideration, maybe a screen where you can see your overall stats it's not hard to do.

(1 edit) (+1)

Yeah, I think the harpies might be are a new type of standard Hengetis since I encountered one during a patrol (damn, new patrol difficulty does not pull punches. I like it. We might need to start fielding a bit of a team). Not that I wouldn't mind clapping that cloaca at some point  ;)

Also, feel a bit bad for saying this so soon after the first update but.... Man, I cannot wait for the next update.

(+2)

Working on it!

(1 edit)

Aaahhhhhh that explains it. Didnt encounter one when I did patrols. Ty for the info.

Maybe there will be a Harpy Hengetis girl we can adopt and add to the Prison at one stage?

(+1)

Fixed, thanks!

If I may ask, when will version 2.1.5 be released?

Working on it.

(+1)

As much as i want this game, im not paying $50 for it 💀💀

(-1)

Its due to go to $20 in about 3 days and then down to $10 another 7 days after that.

Guess I'll have to wait then

That's what I'm gonna do.

(+2)

I must be the luckiest guy ever.

I played the first game for 3 days straight and just finished.

Got on itch to compliment this great developer for making my favourite NSFW game ever only to find part 2's initial release.

I am happy to support part 2 in this early stage, please keep up the great work.

(+1)

I'm glad you enjoy the game!

(+1)

I couldn't be happier with this release than I am right now 😭🎉

(+2)

(-1)

Whoever bought this...could have gotten gta 6 with that money 💀

(+3)(-1)

Yeah, but this is better than GTA6 ;)

(+3)

GTA 6 still isn't out yet what nonsense are you talking about and plus I bet it's going to be 70$ when it gets out reboot love has game listed on here 50$ and plus he gives big awesome updates and good battles for us to enjoy still waiting on GTA 6 but still don't bring GTA 6 in here GTA 5 online ruined things that's why it took so many years for GTA 6 to get a release date and plus at least appreciate all the hard work reboot love has put into game he loves his games he even responds to fans on here negative or positive and I will tell you this that this game developer is super cool and awesome and I don't know anyone like him they are legendary 😎

Heh I checked and you're right GTA 6 is still in Development. Well spotted.

Geez that was just a joke 💀

(1 edit)

The problem with text format... theres no way to detect tone unless you make it really obvious... say by leaving a symbol like this one :P or better yet by actually saying 'This is just a joke.'

Whats the exact date for this game to be free?

When 2.1.5 is released.

Guys i suggest buying it in patreon i believe its cheaper 35 dollars i think

(3 edits)

Not everyone likes or uses Patreon mate. I despise Patreon and will never use it.

My reasons are that Patreon enforces the ideologies of its staff on its users. I remember years ago they kicked some members off the platform because they were, supposedly, right wing supporters or some such. I think thats unfair because a payment platform shouldn't care about politics, the only things that should matter is the law and doing their jobs.

I also think the monthly payment structure is open to abuse and encourages laziness. I have heard of creators simply going dark and not telling their followers, happy to take their money until they realize whats going on and cancel their subs. Not unlike streaming services.

And if you time it right, produce some content and then go dark, after building an expectation that it'll be 6 months or more before the next content release then you can claim up to 6 months of payments for doing nothing before people start to cancel their subs. Sounds like a nice pay day dont you think?

As for the laziness issue, having a reliable source of income and license to take 6 months or more to create a product can easily be used to just drag the creation process out. Take your time. As long as you do produce enough to satisfy the minimum to keep your Subs your golden.

If you dont get paid until you pony up the goods, you are forced to produce the goods regularly and on time or you go very hungry!

(1 edit)

Now I'm not saying thats what RebootLove is doing. Just that its possible.

I actually really like Genex Love or I would have left this community months ago.

I dont understand how youre so dedicated in comments

(+1)

I guess I have the time and I'm enough of a cynical A-Hole, combined with being a perfectionist that loves art.

Based

Cool so does this also mean Reboot 2 is finished or is it still going?

Reboot Love Part 2 is still in development.

Is reboot love like genex love? Like whats the difference? The story?

(+1)

Other chars, similar setting.

(+1)

Game is outstanding, it's terrific magnificent , Awesome ,Very heart touching in scenes it's super mega awesome. it's perfect I say the game is worthy to be awarded an Oscar 🏆 of all nsfw games to be number 1 but standing right next to it as number one reboot love game there both perfect and story's are different and great in there own ways I just say you won't regret it the developer reboot love has put there heart ❤️ and soul in game true anime fan probably going overboard but the creator deserves to be praised for this amazing game 🥰❤️

And he's also my hero for creating these characters it has impacted my life and I cherish these games I hope he always continues on these projects because it's always sad for a good thing to come to an end just like your favorite anime. so here hoping we get couple more sequels or whenever reboot love decide the ending to be but I just hope it doesn't end any time soon

Oui pareil mdrrr. Il a dit que le prix allait réduire de semaine en semaine, faut juste être un peu patient et après on pourra jouer tranquille :)

(+2)

It's 50$ bc it just released for high tier members it will go down in price/be free later on

Yes, that is how the dev does things to give patrons a benefit with early release while also giving people who aren't patrons the option to access it early too. It's just an alternative to how some other devs do things where if you're not a patron you just don't get access to the game for 2-4 weeks.

(+2)

50 dollars!????????

(+1)

It's only to be fair with the patreon release schedule, since that's the minimum tier that gets the content (0 days after release). It will drop each week.

(+3)

Yo can I just say I love your game bro not because of the porn but also because of the story is really good but I do have to say I do want a chance to like when playing the first version and the second version to have a chance to get these female supporting characters pregnant because not only for me it would be realistic but it will also add another sexual aspect

(+2)

Genex 2 will have some pregnancy stuff, but I haven't decided if all girls will have that content, or how it's going to be.

(+1)

Can you add an option to disable that?Like at the start it asks you dirty talk and other stuff but can you add so that you can disable pregnancy?

(+1)

Game will also ask you if you want pregnancy stuff when you start. Altering a few chars if you say yes.

(+2)

Finally it continue im so exited how the story goes next.

And about the price dont really care just make the game worth it and thats it

I'll try to do my best, thanks.

(+1)

Dont worry to much just take your time and it will be great thats something i can asurue you

(1 edit) (+3)(-2)

$50 USD!?! Seriously!?! Thats way, way, way too much! Thats as much as a full game on Steam! I am not paying that much for this!!

I understand your trying to give your Patreon people some benefit, to be somewhat fair to them, but all your really doing is ensuring that very few people not already backing you on Patreon will buy your game until the price goes down.

I guess I will have to wait a few weeks.

(5 edits) (+4)

This is one of the reasons why Patreon is for fools!

I want to put this in perspective for everyone. I was involved in the Early Access for Baldurs Gate 3. I paid about $50 AUD for that. AUD not USD., thats like $30-40 USD.

This guy wants $50 USD for one release of an incomplete game! It'll just get worse from here! Are you gonna pay $50 every release? $20? $10?

Even for a full year of early access $50 is too much! I mean this Dev took 10 months to complete this release. You would get 1 release for $50! That is unless things drastically improve.

Personally I am gonna wait, buy the game when its down to $10 USD and if I dont like it, if I dont think its worth the 10 months of Dev time added to the high price tag... I will be out and I will not be supporting anything from RebootLove again!

(+1)(-4)

do you not know how itch works or how this creator functions?

(2 edits) (+4)

I know a bit, yes. I have been using Itch for about 2 years now, I dont remember how much of that has been spent following RebootLove but it has been over a year I think.

I checked and I posted on Genex Love Part 1 about 8 months ago. So I have followed him at least that long.

I think that's enough time to at least observe obvious patterns of behavior.

(1 edit) (+3)

I've watched how this creator functions with the releases, it'll drop $5 every week but those who bought it previously have been locked out. More power to him if it is sustainable for him, but like this guy mentioned while the game is solid albeit full of grammar and spelling errors, it's not worth the hike while other creators are releasing more for less

(+4)

No one is required or pressured to pay or play. I’m just a developer aiming to create an enjoyable game experience, but this is also my primary source of income for myself and my family of five. I understand that even $10 can feel like a lot for an indie game, but this approach is the best I’ve found to make it work for everyone. The game will be free eventually, so there’s no need to pay now unless you’d like early access.

Family of 5???Now i understand how the details of this game is so good💀💀💀

(+2)

Just to clarify, the early access offer includes a year of updates or at least 3 updates, whichever takes longer. So, if 3 updates happen to take 3 years, your access will last those 3 years. As I’ve mentioned before, this update took 10 months since it involved coding a new game in many aspects and porting elements from the previous one. Additionally, I also updated RBL2 during that time, which was nearly 3 months of work.

(+1)

Even splitting the cost over 3 updates, its still too much money. I think $5 -$10 is fair.

As far as the 'It took 10 months since it involved coding...' statement goes, I saw how long it took to update RBL2, it wasn't 3 months. It may have been 3 months work but it was more like 12 before it hit Itch. I can go check right now if you like.

Also if you wanna prove that you can get new content releases out swiftly, do it. Prove it.

I'll eat my words if you provide a content release within 6 months, same quality and amount of content as this one, while also maintaining your work on RBL2.

(+1)

I apologize if I gave the wrong impression; I’m not here to prove anything to anyone. I just wanted to clarify the details. The next Genex update will be ready when it's done—hopefully within 2024, but if not, early 2025—with plenty of new content for players to enjoy.

(+1)

Cool. Then lets drop the topic and move on.

(+2)

I'm not asking anyone to pay for this; this is simply an early access option. I understand that some people may want to pay to get the game right now, while many others will wait until it’s discounted, free, or accessible elsewhere. This setup is designed to align with the Patreon release schedule, where the $50 tier grants access immediately upon release. The price will drop each week following that.

(+4)(-1)

niiiiiiiice, congrats on the sequel, just started the original today

Thanks!

also can you cut back on the "know your place' stuff, not only does that aggravate me but there's a lot of in the first game

Not sure what you mean.

(+1)

Atleast make a free demo 😭

Just wait enough until it goes free!

Oh it will?Alright thx

(+8)(-1)

i love your game and all but $50 .. really

(+1)

Ikr..i hope theres a free version in the future or atleast 20 dollars man

(+1)(-1)

It will go down as it goes down on the patreon release schedule (next week $20, and next week after that one, $10)

That's good to know thanks for the heads up on the upcoming prices.

(+5)

Will there be a free version

yes, probably... in a month or so or when another version of this game is in the hands of patrons.

(+1)

You think the Dev will have a new release done in a month?!

We waited 10 months for this one!

I seriously doubt more content will be available in just 1 month!

We will be lucky if the next content release is out in 6 months!

Theres  a good chance it will take much longer than that!

Or do you mean that the Dev will be finished giving his Patrons their copies about then? Because that I might believe.

The reason thia took such a long time is bc the game had to be recoded entirely, just like making an entire new game

Yeah, i know!  it's been 10 months waiting for an update and another 1 month until the version reaches our hands. Because first we have the patrons and then we have the mobs, unless some unknown hero leaks the game on the f95zone forum.

(+2)

As I mentioned earlier, this update took 10 months as it involved creating a new game in many areas and porting elements from the previous one. I also spent nearly 3 months updating RBL2 during that time.

Considering the work completed since I started developing games:

In 3 years and 1 month:

- RBL1: around 4 hours of gameplay (completed)

- RBL2: around 16 hours of gameplay (in progress)

- Genex Love: around 16 hours of gameplay (completed)

- 2 Love Genex: around 1-2 hours of gameplay (in progress)

Sorry if it feels like this isn’t enough, but I’m just one person trying to make games, and this is what I can offer.

(+1)

First of all, I want to say that your games are very good, and Genex Love is especially remarkable to me. I believe that many fans, like myself, recognize and appreciate your talent. That said, I would like to share a constructive suggestion about the pace of updates.

The problem is that your updates are inconsistent, receiving almost 1 to 2 updates per year! If we receive 3 updates or more, it's a profit!

I know that development can be challenging, especially for someone working alone, but perhaps prioritizing the completion of one project before starting another would help maintain a more consistent flow, making the process less overwhelming.  I've seen countless games abandoned because of this, due to lack of focus, not to mention life's obstacles!

One possibility could be to finish Reboot Love 2 before starting to seriously develop Genex Love 2, after all it only has 2 hours of gameplay, which I assume is in the early stage. Focusing on one project at a time could make the updates more regular and predictable, and stop making more games when your hands are full. which I think would be very pleasing to the community!

If it's feasible, considering the help of a small team could be a great idea to lighten the load and allow you to focus on what matters most: creating unique experiences for your players!

Thank you for your work on Genex Love, I'm excited to see what's next.

(+1)

I understand what you're saying, but I’d like to clarify a few things. Genex Love 1 has had nine updates since March 2022, averaging about one update every three and a half months. I’ve managed the same frequency for RBL2, resulting in a combined update rate of nearly once every two months.

This year, however, has been especially challenging. I’ve been dealing with personal struggles, including bouts of depression and persistent health issues like back pain, difficulty breathing through my nose, growths in my groin, and acid reflux, to name a few. I’ve also had to spend a lot of energy visiting doctors and undergoing various exams and three surgeries. My family has needed more of my support due to their own medical issues, so it hasn’t been the easiest year for development. Despite everything, I’ve done my best to keep the games moving forward.

I get what you’re saying about finding help or building a team, but I’m facing two main obstacles. First, finances are tight, and what I make currently is just enough to support my family. Second, I’m not sure I’d be comfortable working with someone else in this process. Still, rest assured, I won’t abandon these games—they’re my passion and life’s work, and nothing but death will keep me from creating them. I’m optimistic that the first 2 Love Genex update will be ready soon.

Yes.

The long-awaited update of this wonderful game has finally arrived!!🤩🤩🤩🤩

The day is here the peak is back
